Rewriting

My Own Rules

Ever since I was
a kid, I knew I was different.

I didn’t understand why other kids were mean, why they followed rules that didn’t make sense, or why I always felt like I was constantly adapting to the world instead of simply living in it.

I was gifted. Neurodivergent. Highly capable.

And totally out of sync with what was considered “normal.”

So I did what so many high-capacity women do: I learned to “fix it.” I over-delivered. I played the part.

And I went looking for answers.

I earned a bachelor’s in Psychology, a master’s in Adult and Community Education, and eventually, a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. It was here that I finally started to truly understand people and the systems in which they navigated.

I built a
career from that foundation,

and I figured out how to win in systems that weren’t built for me.

And for a while, I did.

I led talent development and engagement strategy at FedEx Ground and Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania, served as Vice President and Principal Psychologist at PSP Metrics, and partnered with organizations like Ardent Mills, along with several other Fortune 500 companies. I created scalable leadership programs, transformed team dynamics, and coached executives across industries.

This was great, but I also saw the cost.

I saw brilliant women burn out in silence. I saw the silent, impossible struggle between showing up at work and showing up for your family. I saw workplaces reward overwork and call it ambition.

And I saw how much hidden talent was overlooked simply because it didn’t “fit the mold.”

Without psychological safety,
even the most brilliant talent stays silent.

That’s when everything clicked.

Today, I coach gifted and neurodivergent women to self-advocate, set boundaries, and finally build careers that align with how they actually work, not how they’re expected to perform.

And I consult with companies ready to evolve beyond grind culture and co-create inclusive, high-performing environments where every voice is valued and every person thrives.

This isn’t about fixing people.
It’s about fixing the way we work.

When you’ve spent a lifetime being told you’re “too much,” “too intense,” “too direct,” you eventually realize:

You were never the problem.
You were the solution the system couldn’t yet see.

I see it.
And I’m building a world where others will too.

Let’s stop shrinking to fit in.
Let’s build something bigger and better together.
